"Church Hurt & What God Requires: We Gotta Do Better" | Full Episode 6 | Power & Truth Podcast

In this episode I share some thoughts on what God requires of His people and His church leaders.  The call to ministry should come with a level of accountability and the understanding that we have to hold ourselves to a higher standard and live a righteous life.  Our actions, our behaviors, the way that we treat God's people is an indication of who we are really submitted to and are the real fruits of the spirit.  These things have an impact on us but often there's a bigger impact that's felt by those around us and those that we've been called to shepherd over.  There are people who belong to church bodies, congregations and ministries who's faith walks are being negatively impacted by the behaviors of those in leadership positions and that needs to be recognized.  

Now is the time when God is purifying His church.  God is not mocked.  God will not stand for people using His name to use and abuse His people for their own purposes.  We are in a time when the world wants you to worship yourself.  The world wants you to worship things and individuals.  The world wants you to worship the gifts, over the Giver.  We need to wake up, repent and ask God for a transformation.

Ezekiel 34: 1-10
