"Reject Every Idol: Our Covenant With the One True God" | Full Episode 5 Audio | Power & Truth Podcast

In this episode I discuss idolatry and how we dishonor God, breaking our covenant with Him by engaging in idolatrous behaviors.  As believers, when we profess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we come into covenant with Him.  The bible tells us that this covenant is like a marriage, the Church is the bride of Christ.  In the same way that you would not want your spouse that you are married to, to cheat, we are required, through our covenant with God to not dishonor Him by "cheating" through idolatry.  

I share some examples of idolatrous behaviors, as a Christian who grew up around worldly Christians I was deceived for most of my life and there is a lot that I had never been taught.  Idolatry and its ramifications is one of things I was never taught until I started to seek out the knowledge and read the bible for myself.  

I also share the biblical examples from the Old & New Testaments that relate to this message:
