"On Grief & God's Sovereignty" | Full Episode 3 | Power & Truth Podcast

My hope for this message is to help believers, and nonbelievers alike, to reconcile feelings of grief tied to losses of life.  There is a recent situation that has gained media attention, the murder of Sonya Massey, who immediately before she was killed, rebuked the demon operating in that person "In the name of Jesus".  As a believer everything about this situation grieved me.  That she was murdered in her home in such an evil way, after having called the police for help and having them come into her home and take her life.  Also the fact that there would likely be nonbelievers using this situation as a way to draw people away from God and deny the power of the name of Jesus.  As well as for believers who would be so heartbroken that it might cause them to doubt.  This is my response to all of that, after having prayed for God to give me a revelation to share with His people that will hopefully give some hope, clarity and comfort that He is still God, He is still in control and Sonya's life and death WILL NOT BE IN VAIN.  In addition to my discussion of the situation of Sonya Massey's murder I also shared multiple examples including the testimony of a good friend of mine, the testimony of Pastor Davey Blackburn, and a biblical example of Stephen, who outside of John the Baptist, is seen as the first martyr for Christ.
